Drank 3 bottles of water, had 23.4g Fiber, 86.94g Protein, calories for the day are under 1,800 (my new daily goal), and I’ve walked 5 miles. I REALLY want to walk that last mile to make it 6, but I think I would be sorry I did by tonight or tomorrow. Trying to “listen to my body,” and “let pain be my guide,” as instructed by my therapist and surgeon. It’s very hard when my brain wants to do one thing, but my body requires something else.

Oh well, not beating myself up about it. I’ve been reducing Diet Coke. I’ve “only” had 4-6 cans a day for the past 3 days (instead of the 8-10 I had crept up to). I’m also slightly more interested in keeping calories down than hitting 100g of Protein. Even when I don’t reach that mark, my Protein is WAY higher than it used to be.
84.9 kg Lost so far: 32.6 kg.    Still to go: 16.9 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.

I am hooked on Diet Pepsi so I understand. It’s hard in my bladder (heck, have a uti now) but so hard to stop. Help!

Sounds like a lot of good compromises to me. I need to work harder (instead of just talking about it) at drinking more water and getting more fiber in my diet, just for starters. Even though you may not always accomplish everything every day, the fact that you have all these goals and are trying really hard most of the time is definitely admirable.

Diet Coke is so dang addictive. It's one of my bad habits I've failed to break. There are worse habits, but still. I don't bring it into the house, but it's always available and always a temptation at the office. Good for you for reeling it in 👍
