You know when you’ve just finished something absolutely delicious and you can still taste it but you want a sip of anything but you don’t want to lose that flavor? That’s where I am right now. Just finished some chicken tortilla soup, it’s all gone, and I’d like a glass of water. Except I don’t, but I do. Ugh. I’ll cave eventually, but not for a bit yet.

Got up and into a frenzy at work. It’s just settling down around 1:30. Eclipse here was a bit of a bust due to a thick and stubborn cloud that would not move. Wasn’t total anyways, so not a huge deal, just annoying. Thank goodness I didn’t do an eclipse cruise or anything expensive like that.

Blob is down a little from the weekend, I find it amusing that water is so low after I bought a set of 2-40oz water bottles this weekend and have been consuming my water with the goal of finishing one per day until it warms up. It’s not a program or anything like that, just a weird little goal I made up for myself. One bottle is an ombré pink-purple, the other is solid black. The colors just called out to me. My old favorite is 40oz, too, but it’s been sweating when i load it up which means the seal has likely been broken and it’s on the way to being useless as a keeper of cold and heat.

Did a long walk yesterday, started and almost finished the taxes, just need to wrap things up tonight.

Back to work for me. Looks like the world didn’t end yet again. That’s not a bad thing unless you’re Nostradamus, then you are #cancelled. Life goes on. Press on, press on.

I drank enough water that I had to pee the moment I was furthest away from the house in my walk, of course. 😳

Oh no! I have had a couple episodes like that while driving to California, with no rest stop for miles. 🥴
