Bah Humbug and hail the Grinch. Why are people so damn generous at this time of year? We have around 40 people in the office and , this week, there has been: Snickers slice Red velvet cake Cheesecake Factory cheesecake Kirsty cream donuts God knows what tomorrow will bring. 🙄 On top of that each day they keep leaving mounds of treat size chocolates on desks and cupboards. There are bowls of this stuff wherever you turn. 🤯All of this I need to walk past to get to my desk. And sometimes they leave treats ON MY DESK! The same thing happened last week as well with home made delicacies, fruit cakes, mince pies and shortbread. It’s their fault I’m this size!! BASTARDS! To think I used to participate in this activity. ( there have been some queries as to where my sausage rolls are this year). My god when I log my food each day it’s quite obvious why I continually put on weight when I am not monitoring. Even a sneaky chocolate Santa was surprising not worth it. (Note to self: log food BEFORE you eat it) Have a wonderful Christmas break everyone. Pick your battles with food wisely. We can be part of festivities without inhaling them, important social occasions are more worthy of divulgence than random food that is available. Onwards and Downwards. Thanks for the support here. 💕
