No change in weight on the scales and yet my clothes are getting looser.😊 I'm assuming that no loss is due to having my period (sorry men cover your eyes) as I'm not cheating on my food entries intake. Any females discovered this too? I had another look through my daily plans and noticed my carb intake fluctuates but on average is more than the protein and fats. All my favourite veges have carbs. How am I to cut carbs when I enjoy my vegetables? What am I to eat instead?🤔 suggestions pls

Phew down is good no matter how little! Though my clothes tell a different story. 6 days ago when I put on my size 18 high waisted jeans, I noticed how extremely baggy the legs were, I had no trouble doing up the zip or button. It was only when I started walking that my jeans slipped down to my lower hips exposing 5cm of my underwear, my jeans almost fell off as I walked!!! woohoo
It was not just that pair, it was all my size 18 jeans, shorts and leggings!!! Ahhh encouraged.

Losing 0.5 kg a Week
15 March 2020
I recognised the causes of the weight gain and why I am not beating myself up about it.🤔
1. Just because coke's no sugar or coke zero has no calories doesn't mean it won't affect my body losing weight. Somehow it does! So will only treat myself to one a week and go back to drinking my favourite...water.
2. Not all Kombucha is sugar free and it does have calories. This too must be restricted in my diet.
3. If family members are not taking my diet seriously, then don't let them cook for me or serve up my meal "portions" I know what I can and can't eat and how much grrrr.
4. Exercising the last 2 weeks has toned up my muscles, though the scales say I've increased weight, my clothes show I've lost weight.
5. I enjoyed drinking herbal teas but this past week I'd been drinking too many teas with milk.
my bad 🤣
6. This week weigh in was done in 5 days since last late entry. Ah well. 😊

Gaining 0.7 kg a Week
10 March 2020
Excited +encouraged at todays weight loss! Missed weigh in yesterday as returning home from motorbike touring+camping holiday (7days-total of 1,705 kms riding) I stuck to my daily calorie intake. I tried new foods including 12hr smoked brisket and a new drink Kombucha! one night at dinner I had a moscato and a pear cider, I was stunned at their high calories which blew my meal intake! Happy to cut out the alcohol, was introduced to Kombucha and surprised at its bubbly refreshing taste. From now on thats my alcohol alternative. Be warned not all brands are nice, some taste like cider vinegar! 😖 I noticed the diary has a section to add for exercise, I wondered how many calories motorbike riding burns. wow!! So I made it a habit to exercise by squeezing the tank and pressing firmly with my thighs as long as I could.(majority of my rides were 2 hrs plus) Got strong thighs now and the legs of my jeans are looser!! oh for the women who are suffering premenopausal such as myself, I've only had 2 x 1 minute hot flushes this week instead of everyday and night! Somehow my new eating habit is preventing them. 🤔
