Keeping it real. Well weight has climbed again BUT I am not phased. I am still following my plan to the T. A graph of my weight shows it increased following my homeopath appt on Tuesday. I was in serious pain with multiple vertebrae twisted, both hips turned, whole left side dropped, groin strain causing hamstring strain and finally my poor ACL snapped knee swollen and painful. So, inflammation released maybe? Which means over the next week I should see this weight gain stop and reverse. 🙏

Apart from that This week I STILL had an overall loss of 300g. And both arms reduced in size. The only areas on my body that weren’t adjusted. Interesting. Rest stayed same or gained size again indicating inflammation or bloating to me.

With my body being re aligned I am moving better, and even managed over 16,000 steps yesterday with no knee pain. That’s pretty good I think. Celebrating not commiserating.

Onwards and downwards. 👇

I’m going to do another mid week entry. Interestingly my weight went up 0.2 kg on Thursday and dropped again 0.1 kg today. Why? Could be anything. No from “bad” eating, which I haven’t been. All my food and drink is recorded in the APP. Anyway Tuesday I went to Homeopath, I was in agony with my knee that needs reconstruction plus hip, could hardly walk. Had 4 vertebrae twisted, hips twisted, groin strain, which put pressure on hamstring damaged last Physio visit and ultimately knee. Traced back to Monday the 10th where I had my last physio session in the pool. Homeopath re aligned me up. Pain nearly gone although lower back still very painful to touch. I’m sure it’s the release of inflammation that has caused the weight to toggle. My point is it’s really interesting how life’s stresses including injuries can affect your weight, not just what you put in your mouth!

So I know I should see weight start moving again soon. I’m not concerned as I know I am on the right path, onwards and downwards. ❤️

Mid week weigh in. Doing well. BMI dropped another point today down to 34 neat. Homeopath is happy. She said I’ve lost all the fluid I was carrying. No more bloating. Lost my 3rd stomach now. 😳 Rest deflating and sucking up. Funny watching your gut change shape.

I designed this way of eating for myself in 2016 after having an op on my ankle, and being 120kg I was struggling to get myself up and down stairs or around on crutches. So I looked at how I processed food, did research, got tests done and recorded changes in my body, weight, skin, health over a few months as I healed until I got the mix right.

Would you believe a nutritionist told me I’m meant to be fat. Apparently my DNA test showed I have all the fat genes inherited from both sides of family. Go figure! I refuse to accept that and told her so. Her plan had me gain 10 kg in 2 days. Nope. Back on my own plan which is sustainable, and I will therefore continue doing what I’m doing.

I find doing a slow weight loss of around 1 kg per week also let’s my body have time to suck up the loose skin although at 60 I’m not over confident. 🤣 Onwards and downwards peoples. 😜
