Apart from one glass of wine about three weeks ago I have not had any alcohol for over a month. Thought I would crow about that today seeing as I haven't performed as well in the weight loss department this week :)

That's fantastic! I once read that alcohol can make up to 9kg difference in weight in a year! I stopped drinking 4 years ago apart from very occasionally.

Thanks for your support njashka8! I believe it was certainly alcohol rather than food which has contributed to my huge weight gain over a number of years. I feel a lot better for abstaining and the weight losses have been great!
