From 2 Jan to 22 Jan I have lost nearly 12kg. First week was a total waterfast. I have just come off another 3 day water fast.
103.6 kg Lost so far: 11.8 kg.    Still to go: 28.6 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.

too fast, you will get it back as soon as you start eating normal again, slow and steady is what all dieticians recommend

Not true. The same will happen with "dieting" (or as they call the yoyo effect). It is a matter of lifestyle change and any weight loss must be followed with a timed introduction back to eating normally this can be typically 1/2 the time in which you lost the weight. Read up on water fasting and you will find many stories where people have successfully lost weight and kept it off. Fasting goes back thousands of years well before "dieticians" existed. I went to a dietician that said I should include donuts in my balanaced diet! How can thi sbe good for you. I rarely eat sugar so don't suffer from the sugar spikes which ruins your insulin system. Fasting can reset the insulin tolerance amongst many other health benefits in lowering blood pressure etc.

you are entitled to your opinions have ever unhealthy they are, but knowing when you post these there are others that will think it is good to try with bad outcomes, remember when the wieght comes back it brings friends with it unless you take things steady, I am a doctor and always make sure that people are dieting sensibly and not starving for quick results at their own healths risk take care
