You did so well with your fasting I’m sure you’ll be fine, just be mindful of the carbs and have a great time.

Thanks.. I am surprised that a doctor said that it wouldn't work when there are so many doctors and scientific papers on the benefits of fasting. There are certainly risks when you exit a long fast called feeding syndrome which if you are not careful can KILL YOU. When I exited my 7 day fast I ate 1/4 banana in the morning followed by a cup of soup and bone broth in the evening. It is important to slowly reintroduce foods because your body can be depleted of its potassium stores. I had advice from an ex nurse who has spent the last 20 years working in cardiology so this is not based on all my own ideas as has been suggested. I started out with a bad heart and my oxygen level was around 95%. I was unfit, unwell and decided I needed to lose weight fast. During the fast I had all this energy and my blood pressure dropped low. I started walking up to 5km and now am fit, have no shortness of breath, my oxygen levels are around 98% and I no longer have chest pain. My cardiologist recommended to lose the weight.. but that is just his opinion :)

Have you heard of the moon fast? 2 days detox new and full moon. Very interesting. Look up werewolf and moon diet. I’m planning to do it next week. I tracked the moon times for my area to get exact dates.

I would avoid any juice diets. Either do the complete water diet which cleanses you or the diet where you have black coffee and tea. The water diet will put you in ketosis after 24 hours which is fat burning. Juice diets are sugar which is no good for you. You would be better doing a soup diet. I am going to start that with some home made soup. No preservatives or man made substances, just broth from bones (I used left over ham) and vegetables... celery, carrots, leeks etc. Ifg you keep your carbs to less than 50g net then you can stay in ketosis (see keto diet). I am currently stabilizing this week so no real gain or loss but mainting the 14.5kg I have lost.
