Wow! I am so happy ~ I started my weight loss & exercise journey on Friday 7th August ~ 7 is my lucky number & I went into this absolutely determined to succeed in my quest to lose 30.5kg and be fit & healthy after 3 years of gluttony. walking with the aid of a walking frame & leading a sedentary lifestyle because of Chronic joint pain.
I have two new hips now but still walk with a stick as my lumbar spine is seriously affected by arthritis & I have a 20o scoliosis curve to the left in my spine; my Orthopeadic surgeon says I will never be able to walk any distance unaided & without suffering excruciating pain because I am carrying so much weight SO ITS JUST GOTTA GO!!!!!!! AND IT WILL ~ I AM SO DETERMINED.
I love this program, the challenges, you ladies & gents to chat to, the recipes & the fact that it keeps me honest 'cos I work out the calorific value of each meal before I consume it & I love to watch it being calculated throughout the day..... I love the bar code scanner ~ how cool is that!!! Same with the exercise ~ instead of putting my wet clothes in the dryer I'm now exercising my back by carrying it outside & hanging it out on the line ~ bending - stretching - bending - stretching.
The other day I did ten minutes of stepping up & down my back garden step & that really got my heart pumping so that's going to go into my regular routine & I have gone back to doing water aerobics at the local pool for two hourly sessions ....... I love the water ...... Anyway, I have lost 1.4kg in 4 days and I'm thrilled ~ I sincerely hope that the rest of you are as excited as I am .....
