Well, I'm owning up to a massive pig out of +73% of my RDI but under no circumstances am I going to weigh myself and dig a bigger black hole to slip into than I'm already in by seeing what I've done to myself. Didn't go to the pool today, actually I've barely moved from my chair all day ~ two huge tooth extractions tomorrow. I wish my big son would come and give me a hug but there's no chance of that ~ he's such a hard nut to crack 😢

Stuff happens. The important thing is that you are aware of the misstep and take measures to not make the mistake again too soon. We all need a "day off" from the rigors of dieting and exercise, so do not get down-in-the-dumps. We have all been there and are here to cheer you on when things go well, but more importantly to send Hugs across the miles when things hit a snag! The thought of tooth extractions is daunting, and I too would be overwhelmed by the prospect. You are doing really well, and this is just something that needs to pass. Once the stress of the dental procedure is passed and you are feeling recovered, things will look a lot better. Until then, remember that you have people who care and are wishing you a speedy recovery!

I can't add any more to what Belle replied, I agree whole heartedly with her comment. Be gentle on yourself, you've done so well to date :) Will be thinking of you while at the dentist tomorrow. Take care

Thank you so much for your support guys; I am back from the dentist and actually had five extractions ~ four across the lower front and one of the big ones I was expecting to go up the back. My dentist decided to take the 4 little skinny ones from the front because I have been a tooth grinder for years and they got wonky and she put a splint across the back of them about three years so I was told it was time to bite the bullet (so to speak) and get dentures ..... of course if I was more financial I would have chosen to fly over to Thailand like my best friend and her husband did and have a magnificent holiday whilst having all of their teeth capped in a beautiful five star Super Clinic but I am extremely grateful that we have quite a generous Community Dental system here for pensioners and although I will have to go without those lower teeth (plus a really bad impacted one she put off until next week) for six weeks (mmmmm very attractive) .... at the end of it all I will have a brand new set of teeth which cost me nothing other than some temporary discomfort. Of course the other advantage for me; particularly over the next 48 hours is that I have been advised not to eat a lot in order to avoid getting food particles in the open sockets of my missing teeth so the plan is to drink lots of water & Whey Protien drinks during that time which will of course get me back on track and help me lose whatever I may have gained in this pig out time. Once again thank you all for your supportive words ~ it's so very important to know there are people out there who can really relate to the compulsion towards emotional, binge eating when those that are closest to you don't "get it" at all ..... Good luck to you all throughout this coming weekend ~ may you have beautiful weather, beautiful people and beautiful healthy food to enjoy it with. Caio for now ~ Jilly 😘 xx 🌹
