So scales aren't moving today. There's always tomorrow. I'm not feeling well today, either hay fever or start of a cold. Still went to boot camp. Struggled with the running but then again always do!I have a great trainer which helps me modify to suit my level.I often find it very confronting as I'm one of the heaviest female's and also oldest. Not that it stops me from doing or giving my all. I have a group of encouraging, lovely young fit hipsters that encourage me and help me go the extra bit I couldn't do on my own. Hey it's all good.
Get through today one hour at a time.
93 kg Lost so far: 5 kg.    Still to go: 18 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.

Don't expect the scales to move every day! I found that sometimes there is no movement, and then one day, there is a sort of whoosh - where you drop a kg out of nowhere! Take it one day at a time - one hour at a time - slow and steady wins the race.

thanks Angelica, patience is a virtue that comes and goes for me. still the same but know it will change. Waiting for the whoosh. How about you?

Hi Mamma! I had the whoosh alright - in the other direction! Thursday was a horrendous day for me food wise. I had lunch while I had a treatment in my hair (and my hairdresser went out and got us some middle eastern food - which was delicious - but I thought it would be rude not to accept) and then I went out for dinner - I had a steak...with chips. I know that's not that much, but I haven't eaten like that for some time now. I didn't weigh myself yesterday but today I was 90.2 (1.2 more than what I was when I last posted) I am so disappointed! I know it will come off slowly but I am on damage control yesterday and today. So I guess I am waiting for another whoosh in the next couple of days. Like a yoyo!

Hi angelica yeah well aren't we just like 2 peas in a pod! My down fall started Friday night. 2 glasses of wine. We have a new puppy that decided to wake at 2.30am and didn't settle. I finally got up at 5.30. Was tired all day. No breakfast. lunch had a bread roll. went out later in the evening 2 gin & tonics. came home husband made pizza for our friends so I just had 2 pieces. 3 gins with diet tonic. Dog was better but still had me up 3 times through the night. No breakfast sunday. had more bread but only small. as I don't eat bread often when I do my body takes ages to process it. Went to party in afternoon. ! champagne. Had visitors. 1 gin with diet tonic. Husband cooked pasta for dinner and I had some. So all in all 1/2 kg up is not to bad. Back on track today. Hope things are back to a bit of normality for you also. have a great day

Hi Mamma, I'm away on a trip but will post Wednesday night when I'm back... I haven't been able to weigh myself but I have been a bit naughty, especially at work 😔. I will tell you all about it when I sit down in front of a computer and can write a better post. Anyway, keep your chin up! Sounds like you are holding it together with all the exercise you do!

Hi Angelica, hope you are in damage control. God this is a real shitty time of the year to be thinking and watching everything that goes into ones mouth! I went to ladies lunch yesterday,, following my usual exercise routine. Parked the car out of Freo, caught the cat bus so I could walk a little bit both ways. Watched everyone else have bread and chips. I drank water and did manage to enjoy the day. Must say was a bit disappointment the scales didn't move. Awh there's always tomorrow. Hang in there. Get back in your zone. The next 10 days is a little like preparing for a marathon I think. Hang in there. :)

YEP! I had a mini melt down today at work and consumed a nutella donut - Enough said :( Im still in Brisbane. I have been good - until now. I don't expect the scales to have moved in a downwards direction now. I did have some hope but not anymore. I just won't eat very much for dinner now... its all about balance. I had a naughty lunch... so nothing for dinner. I will weigh in tomorrow morning, and will post if it is a loss, but if it is a gain, I will just tell you about it quietly :(
