Saltwater Girl's Journal, 06 Feb 20

It was raining and cold tonight so Helen and I got some of our favourite comfort food from the Flower Garden Chinese Buffet. I was disappointed for the Manager that I was the only one there. Where were all the regulars? It appears that they have been stigmatised by the recent Coronavirus flu outbreak that is affecting so many Chinese Australians. It is wrong because the food is as fresh, wholesome and delicious as ever. The Manager even chucked in a bag of prawn chips.
We had beef and black bean sauce, ginger beef and fried rice. (prawn chips). We also got a container of red and green jelly because Helen's taste buds are off because of the flu and so she is eating Peters' lactose-free icecream to get nourishment and ease her sore throat. The food was bloody delicious. I could have eaten twice as much. Here are some pictures to get your taste buds buzzing.
