I warmed up that chocolate veggie cupcake and dropped it right back in the middle of my anabolic ice cream. Now, i did use less protein powder and cottage cheese to make it up, and i logged it all. I can’t do this every day, but it was so good. Gonna go swim now. Burp.

It was so good. I was out and about earlier and wanted some Cherry Garcia, so i came home and made this for just about the same number of calories and a lot more protein. Happy Day.

Why can't you do it everyday Katsolo? Greg says you can have as much protein ice-cream as you want. Is he lying? lol

Oh, I totally have the ice cream almost every day. I meant dropping a warm cupcake into the middle of it.

Now I get it. The warm cupcake drop is a great addition.

The cupcake is from garden lites. They have them at Costco. I only buy them on sale. It’s junk food labeled as healthy, but they’re only 110 calories, so not too bad. Only 2 grams of fiber, so not like changing. They live in the freezer.

How do you make that icecream? Its protein powder and cottage cheese? Wonder if its similar to the smoothie I made today with protein powder milk and yogurt. It was pretty creamy. I have them most days too!!!

Google "anabolic ice cream" and use the Greg Doucette one. I have xanthan gum for mine. It's so good.

and I use either milk, cottage cheese or greek yogurt for moisture. they all work. don't need much of any of them.

Thanks Kat! I looked it up. It is pretty much the same as the smoothie I made yesterday except no Xanthum gum and I only used 1 scoop of protein powder. If I would have put more ice in it or used that it would have been thick like icecream. The protein powder made it much creamier. I tried half a scoop of protein powder in my coffee today but it clumped up and wouldn't dissolve. Pretty gross! I wonder what others are using that makes their coffee so good. I used Optimum French vanilla whey protein.

From what I’ve seen on the web, they put their coffee in the blender or a shaker. You could try one of those mini whisks for frothing milk. If it’s still lumpy, try adding some of the powder to cold water separately like you would corn starch when making gravy. Didn’t have to be a lot, just a teaspoon at a time.
Separately, I don’t use any ice in my ice cream, i let the blender pulverize the frozen fruit, but not all blenders can take that.
Hope this helps. 😉

Yes thank you! I was also thinking dissolving the powder in a small amount of milk then putting it into the coffee might work too.
