I'll be moving state for extra support. I feel living with my FIL and his high expectations whilst I am dealing with a crohns flare. It's helping my recovery. His verbally abusive to me. But since my partner has stood up for me (if I tried to explain or stand up for myself. I was always told to shut up, stop making up B.S, stop being lazy and I look disgusting). FIL now gives me the complete silent treatment and refuses to talk to me at all, unless it's something negative.
so we are moving to where my family are.
No my partner would never be home when my FIL talked/yelled at me. I didn't tell because I wanted to keep the peace and I just didn't have the energy.
But my partner heard one day coming home early. They had a huge argument.
There are days I barely have energy to get out of bed. I even at one point dreamed I was doing all the housework to be woken by my partner. I was really confused. "wasn't I just hanging out the washing, how am I here in bed".
crohns sucks and to have someone not even try to understand makes it worse. I already feel overwhelmed, guilty and shame. I just want to go back to normal.
sorry for this rant/vent. Not the place to do it but it feels better getting it out. Thanks if you've read this.
I don't seem to be able to reply to messages. not sure if it's because I am using mb app or not. If you know pls let me know how to fix issue.
