Welcome to part two of "No good deed goes unpunished".
My Brother has a small plastics fabricating business, and was moving into larger premises. So I spent the weekend helping him move, and set up the new office etc.. That's the good deed part. Unfortunately he decided to feed all of us helpers with hamburgers, yiros', chips, chicken, etc... And it was great !! What wasn't great was finding out that I had put 2kg on after the weekend !!
So then I spent all week eating like a rabbit and managed to make a fair dent in it, but still came up .7kg in the red :(
And the future is looking bleak as well. I have a friends birthday Saturday night (which means beers :) ) and she said "don't eat before you come' - so there is at least 1kg right there :)
Then the following week I have a mates 40th and there are about 8-10 of us going away for a long weekend. So there will definitely be many beers, and some very poor food choices. Can't wait :)

Cheers.

Another week, a small loss - really only back to where I started from, but at least it's in the right direction.
You've heard the old saying 'no good deed goes unpunished' ? Well I found out this week that it is 100% true. A lady came into my workplace looking for something that I didn't have (not really even sure what she wanted). But found a workaround, and grabbed a grinder out of my car and cut a bit of metal for her. I should point out here, that I work in an office, so it was a little unusual for somebody to be grinding steel in a carpeted office :) She asked how much, and I told her to take it and good luck :) So the good deed was done. Now for the punishment. The next day she came back, but holding a plastic bag. she thanked me for my efforts the previous day and handed me a bag of food. Bad food. Very bad food !! Well, good food, but bad for me !! I am virtually the only one in the office complex, so I tried to give it all away, as I knew I am weak and would eat whatever was left :( Well there were 2 cookies left (they were nice - cranberry and choc chip) out of about 6, and a block of fruit and nut chocolate. It didn't stand a chance !!
I felt sick afterwards, not sure if it was from the excess of chocolate, or from the guilt, but either way I think I am off chocolate for a while :)
In other news, I managed to avoid the gym for another week ! I'm going for the record !

Cheers.

Waaaaah. I went up. I didn't go to the pub, I didn't eat a packet of tv snacks, I stuck to my diet almost religiously. The only thing I did was to eat 2 bread rolls with dinner last night (but I didn't have any lunch at all, so thought it would even out). I know bread is bad, but I thought 2 small rolls might be ok, I didn't even add butter, I ate them plain.
I expected to see a 82 somewhere this week, but not to be.
I was hoping to ease the diet in the next few weeks, but it looks like I can;t even eat 2 rolls without putting weight on.
I think I'm almost resigned to the fact that i will be on a diet for the rest of my life. It appears I can just look at an apple and put a kilo on :(
I think I will just go away and cry now. maybe I should weigh myself after, maybe it;s the accumulation of salt water that's making me heavy ? My footy team has been winning lately, so there have been fewer tears ;)

Cheers.

Pretty happy with a 1.7kg loss this week. My chart says I was 85.3 last friday, but this site is saying 85.1 (which I have down for Saturday). Either way I am happy :) I even had several beers on Saturday night at the pub (but didn't eat) and still had a good loss.
I managed to avoid the gym for another week !! It wasn't easy as they are open now, but not 24 hrs, so I told myself that I couldn't get there in time (I probably could). Then the bloke at the gym rings me and tells me that they are open 24hrs again. See you soon I said !! Not likely :) Maybe next week :)
I've resigned myself to the fact that I wont lose 3.6kg in the next 11 days (but might come close). I've also decided that even at 80kg I am still fat. So I think 75kg is going to be the new goal. But I am not in any hurry to get there. Maybe 3-6 month target ?
Also at the end of the month I will stop my weekly reports. I am sure i am just boring everybody by now, and to be honest, I don;t want to be on a diet anymore. Unfortunately I will need to be on one for the rest of my life, but I need to find a good mix where I can still drink beer and have fun, whilst maintaining the weight that I have struggled over the last year to lose.
I've got my eating plan pretty much sorted now, it's boring by most peoples standards, but it suits me, and it seems to work (for me). I will just continue on.
Cheers.
