By my standards, I've been dieting perfectly since early September. Not one extra biscuit, not one more beer, not a single extra bite, nibble, or sip. Two days ago I ate a meal that was over budget at a friend's BBQ. Today I'm 1.1kg heavier than I was two days ago, even after a 7km hike and only 800 calories yesterday to compensate. Dieting is some straight up unfair horseshit!

I completely get ya it just doesn't seem to make any sense. Though, don't give up ignore the scales this week, look at all your hard work of self- control and fitness. You are making progress and doing well. Do what worked for me, use the bleh 🙄 feelings positively by walking further with attitude to stop yourself from giving up or indulge in the wrong foods. You can do this. Onwards and downwards 🤛

Yep... The scales they mock us 😭 Mine fluctuated 3kg last week when I had a few restaurant meals with wine... even the extra exercise doesn't seem to have an immediate impact... I read that alcohol can halt your fat burn for 24hours... not sure if that's a scientific fact but seems our bodies take a few days to deal with the fatty/carby/sugary food (sigh)...

That’s a bugger I ate my allowed calories yesterday and I’m 0.3kg up now that’s not like yours I know but I’ve been working out every day and up it today to 3000 calories of exercise and only 1900 calories intake so will know tomorrow how it went. It is tough staying on track but remember sometimes your body will go up and down.
