Starting back into the word of carbs with a serve of wheat pasta. For a while I will test the waters with a half serve, if I need more I will bump with Konjac or Slendier low carb noodles. I'm interested to see if it kicks in my 'hunger hormones' !!!

Pasta is dangerous for me, I always want more! How did you go?

@spicehorn, you'd think after a year and a half of retraining my brain to what a portion should look like that I could trust this to be enough for my shrunken stomach - but nope 😂 I looked at the 13 little spirals that measured exactly half a recommended serve and then added a half serve of Konjac noodles on top of the pile of veg and turkey/bacon bolognese. Boy was it good, but way too much (even with my love of volume eating). 430cals, but my tummy gurgled all night trying to digest it all lol... Next time, I'll stick to the 13 pasta spirals and try to eat it earlier in the day... Energy levels were up today, but so too my weight (retained fluid from carbs and sugar in the bolognese sauce is my guess...) It's on my monthly meal plan now, so time will tell in the longer term if my blood sugar levels remain stable or if my body measurements increase...
