Well I’m the same weight as last weeks ending. A bit disappointed yet I’ve increased calories much faster than I expected. Wanted to do 1400-1500 and some days I was 1900. Have a 1400-1500 average though. Hard to believe that would be maintenance calories for 141 :/. How little will I have to eat to stay 110-120 when I get there?! Almost 5 years ago I was 107-112. I was eating double the portions I’m eating now along with more junk food. Was also having 2-4 140-160 calorie sodas per day.

My surgeon told me my body was in survival mode for the last 18 months and it wouldn’t allow me to lose until I was 18-24 months post chemo. I am 1 year 2 months and 8 days post chemo. With the loss I’ve seen these last 3 months I ASSuMEd he was wrong and my body was bouncing back quicker than normal. Perhaps he was right. Or perhaps going from 1200 to 1400 daily average over two weeks was too much too quickly.

Camp this week and next and no choice but to eat out at fast food or cafes. I’ll choose sonic where I can get a small burger or a cafe that serves omelettes. Good luck finding one that serves a large salad that’s not packed with extra calories. The kids threw a fit when I suggested sandwiches and having a couple picnics this week to save money, calories and have some quality family time in the outdoors. After all they are constantly begging for picnics at home lol.

Generally speaking, if you add exercise, you end up being able to add more calories. Long term studies show healthy eating and daily exercise leads to long term maintenance of weight loss. Good luck!

I’m on restriction until beginning or mid July so short walks are all I am allowed right now. Also supposed to be maintaining rather than losing I believe (fat transfer a month ago & don’t want that fat to go away just all the rest lol). That being said I have went on a few one mile walks and one gym trip I ended up regretting as I swelled up again lol. I wasn’t very active before when I used to eat double what I do now. I was just 4-5 years younger lol. Mid June I start a workout program twice a week. It’s tailored to me specifically and my health issues so I’m hopeful that not only will I lose weight but I’ll also get stronger and build muscle. Those two days a week are about all I can fit in around hubby and 3 kids and all their activities.
