WTF?!? Speechless! Well actually I’m not. I’m trying to gain muscle then have this drop so am I losing muscle? My weight has always been fairly steady through the week but this week it’s up and down 1/2 a pound daily! I’ve waited a month or more to see this number yet for some reason it makes me irrationally irritated. Irrationally being the key word as I know I shouldn’t feel this way but I do. It’s a great day and I’m happy. Until I think of this drop.

I did my best but was stuck around 80 oz H2O yesterday when my aim was 130-140. I didn’t go more than an hour without taking a drink of something. I didn’t come close to meeting my macros or calories except once this week (have been under). I stuffed myself last night and honestly my stomach is still a bit upset, hard and I just feel ‘off’. Perhaps this is what you are supposed to feel like when you get enough fiber lol.

Guess I’ll take the 135 for today but I’m not gonna brag. Last time I did that (136) I went back to 137 immediately:/. I just wish there was a reliable way to track what my body is doing. I’m not willing to eat within exact macros or an exact calorie amount. With 3 kids, school starting and so many activities I just don’t have the time to plan all that.

Don't worry so much about the daily change. Check it weekly, monthly or just look at the overall picture. Proof - Weigh yourself in the morning, then in the afternoon, then in the evening. You will have three different weights. Day to day will fluctuate, so don't freak out so much.

you don't need to eat to exact calories or macro's. that just makes you feel overwhelmed. that is not your diet or rebuilding plan. You are working out, you track so you have an idea of where you are at, not to push yourself too hard. I think getting the extra protein especially when you are working out so much is what is making a difference. Feeding your work.

My scale didn't work for a couple of months and I had to see my success in something other than my weight. Since I was looking for the "signs" i found a few. Finally got a new scale and I am down 31lbs!!! But what keeps me "on" keto is the improvement I see in how I feel.

MJ,’I do that sometimes. Yesterday it was the same morning and night! 0.4 difference after lunch but it was gone by bedtime. I was down like 1# for the month and now about 3#. I go by day, week and month to see if there is a trend.

Aimee good job!! Unfortunately im not seeing any difference in clothes or measurements in the last month or two. But hey, at least it’s not a gain! (Fat gain that is, I’d love some muscle gain)

Oh yes baskington. I like tracking but I do get overwhelmed sometimes. Perhaps it is the added protein. The trainer will use calipers on me again in a couple weeks. Maybe it will show me something.

Yep Chris! I usually try to balance out the macros on the weekend if I can. Hmmm I don’t know. I’m still 10# over my ideal. So both? Me for weighing the same as a man (hehe) and you for being as small as a girl?? Oh and thanks for the jinx. If it all comes back as fat it’ll be your fault 😝

It’s never my fault... didn’t you know I’m perfect?!?! Perfectly imperfect that is ;). When I see someone think you are a girl I’m goning to keep it going ;). Just for jinxing me 🤣
