Got in the habit for a week of going straight to the kitchen to start coffee and make lunches. Honestly forgot to weigh in before coffee. Already had 2 cups and I am not going to weigh in.🙁
Will have to start on my routine again of weighing in first, as TomLong says, before coffee before breakfast.😁
I was going to quit all my bad habits for the new FS year, but then I remembered that nobody likes a quitter.😆
It’s Thursday. Let’s get shaken and stirred. Do I smell the weekend?

I hope I am OK weighing in LIS, I did so much desk work yesterday and I barely drank any water. 🙃 You’re always staying slim, I hope I can maintain too, once I get there. 💪

Especially not a glass of water Shirfleur.👍🌺 I take thyroid medication late at night and they want you to have a full glass of water with it. If I forget to take it in the early morning hours I doom myself.🙃

Skydiverjim, my hubby is going fishing this weekend so my routine is treating myself to ribs, yahoo!😁 Plus, chores though, that I like getting done when he is out. Hope you have a great weekend! 👍

That’s what I did, lost under goal to give myself a buffer. Shrewdness I actually struggle with weight. I love to eat! And unfortunately I carry weight very well. I was technically obese by BMI measure before I began this recent journey. I felt good and looked good so I thought. However the scale and bloodwork told a different story. I became pre-diabetic ( that is now gone). So I had to knuckle down and get serious. In college the kids friendly-teased me about being pudgy. My ankles were bothersome. I went to an old county doctor who said my ankles would be fine if I lost some weight!!😂😂 He gave me a secret that kept me good for probably 40 years- don’t eat visible fats (Mayo, butter, etc) and do not have second helpings. That was all, and it worked. In my later years, with metabolism and activity slowing, the weight gradually began to return. So no, I haven’t been skinny- even now. BMI charts classify me at overweight. LOL!!

I am shocked LIS, and I hate, just hate BMI charts, they even have Diablo as overweight!🙃 Someone who works out daily at a gym that is in better shape than the guy who made the chart!😆 That chart doesn’t take into consideration build or muscle mass. It’s like everyone is too short! That was invented in the 1830s! The BMI actually classifies those as overweight that are the very most fit members of society who exercise and turn their fat into muscle. I truly believe the BMI is relatively useless as an indicator of health for individuals, and here you are putting yourself down as it gives you a negative aspect of yourself.😞 You have stayed at a healthy weight since I have known you, that’s quite a feat, don’t be criticizing yourself because of some damn stupid chart, just stay healthy.😊 If you love food so much you really deserve an award for staying on target, I hope I can do that someday.💪👍 My problem is I don’t exercise for I really don’t think I need buns of steel. I’d be happier with buns of cinnamon.😁

LOL, I love that! Cinnamon buns! You are right. I have chosen to ignore the BMI charts. I shared here a few months back that a new chart has been developed for senior folk. Someone is waking up. As we age, we need to be well nourished, strong and have a little extra padding for protection against falls, illnesses, and the like! That’s my story and I am sticking to it!😂😂😂 Have a sunshiny day ☀️☀️☀️☀️!
