I'm so sick of this watching what I eat and the weight creeping up. I'm 61. Can post-menopause really just play so much havoc with a woman's weight? I am today 60.6kg without changing anything. I've taken a few dexamethazone over the past two days under advice from the ER to reduce swelling involved with an acute ear infection, and I know it makes you eat more, but I've not been hungrier than normal, nor eaten more than normal. And I'm just unable to lose anything. I'm putting weight on whilst not eating more. I'm so flat today.

Medication can play a role. Hang in there! It will come down eventually!
