(happy squeal) its just melting off!!

I started on the 1st Dec 2021at 92kgs, determined that peri- menopause was not going to control or be the excuse to ruin my body and mind anymore. I am conquering it with hardwork & a new mindset to understand that my body reacts slower and differently to foods and exercise than what I once known. I found what works for me. This is not a diet, this is now my chosen lifestyle to stay fit, agile and healthy- no more aches & pains or slow stiff movements- gone!!
I feel young and energetic again!!
73 kg Lost so far: 19 kg.    Still to go: 19 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.

I totally agree with your words of advise. I recently learnt how important Vit B1, is to help process carbohydrate, energy levels etc. Google Vit B1 and see its benefits. Its now 5 &1/2 years since changing my diet and lifestyle. Slowly reversing the damage from Diabetes type 2. Got off medications too, after 12 years of being on Metformin, Diabex SR1000 etc. The old way of wrong diet, and Meds was making me feel so old and sick. Since going Low carb/ Healthy Fat diet, I feel healthier & younger for it at 67 yrs old.
