🙄 4th week same weight, no change on the scales, though my clothes say otherwise with my trousers and tops loose around my waist. My hot flushes and sweats have not faded, hence haven't had a good night's sleep in a looong time.
But ☝... this isn't the time for me to get depressed or discouraged, instead I took to my treadmill, turned up the speed and power walked faster then ever for an hour on my incline setting (quite surprised how fit I've become) will do this from now on, I felt the leg, ab and arm muscles working 😉 felt good.
Will cut out certain foods I normally do not eat ie wheat products and fruits. I miss eating lettuce and tomatoes, haven't had any for many weeks due to high prices and poor quality. Hmm, anyone want to gift me a box of fresh healthy lettuces and tomatoes? Will be dearer than a bunch of roses 🤣
I believe my next weeks weigh in will be a good loss. 🥰

Hang in there treeslaugh - this is the point of giving up for me when there are consecutive weeks of no loss. You know better and smart to note you are reducing in clothing and probably building muscle. This plateau will pass!!!!

Thanks Noeline you are right. I make majority of my meals from scratch, nothing artificial. I do use chilli and spices as I look forward to interesting flavoursome meals. I may need to cut back my coffee amounts but won't cut it out altogether. I've eliminated too much from my diet, I don't want to be miserable 🤣

How about getting a little garden going? I've been growing baby spinach, rocket and coriander, and the seeds have now paid for themselves. 🙂

Chamade20, I have a garden with herbs and fruit. My vegetables and fruit took a hammering from the extreme weather changes, fruit flies and fruit bats, not much harvest. I'm waiting patiently for my new crop of veges to grow. In the meantime, I eagerly desire to eat lettuce tomatoes, cucumbers etc 😋

Pam S. just started a few days ago. at the moment absolutely sticking to 1,500 cals tried 1200 first but found i was not adding minor things like butter and spreads. We have nice fruit trees in fruit at the moment which eating the whole of, not just the juice. I tried juice first but the cal increase is really high after a week I have lost a couple of kilo. 😅😅 my husband has joined me in the venture which has made it much easier.
