Keto diet going very well. Being a vegetarian and on keto is not easy though. Learning to let food be simply a source of energy, to sustain life.

Eating can of course provide such a range of emotions and thoughts; pleasure, comfort, disgust, sadness, regret. Food can be a distraction from our mundane lives, it can take us to a happy memory or provide social connection. In some ways the things we eat can be similar to other habits which can be negative like alcohol, gambling or positive for example exercise or playing music.

I see so much pain, suffering and distress people are experiencing from their eating habits and the struggle associated with the desire to change. Disconnecting from the strong grip that food, somehow, substitutes for whatever is missing in our lives is very difficult for a lot of people.

I wish everyone a safe and sucessful journey to just be happy with themselves, whatever shape or weight you are. It helps me to remember that a lot of what I think I am is merely a projection of my ego, which is a construction of ideas and thoughts that have conditioned my mind since birth to think in one way or another.

I hope you can take a moment today in a quiet place to close your eyes, look at who you really are and see you are not all those negative projections. You are much more than that, its a fact.
