Don’t forget that water weight! Most of those weight that fluctuate is water especially if you consume more carb or salty food

Yes that’s the problem K1 with water. I’d have to say I’m holding more water on some days compared to others. As far as carbs and salt I watch that carefully due to my high BP but that too is coming under control with exercises and good eating.

You know it’s hard to tell yourself that weight going up and down is fine JayCee. I want the weight to sort of go up and my waist go down but because I only check measurements once a month it’s hard to just wait and keep doing as I’m doing and look at the results at end of month.

Speaking of salt, have you tried Celtic salt? It’s a lot less sodium compared to others like Himalayan salt. I do use them both

No I’ve not tried that salt but I don’t add any salt whatsoever to my food only what’s in the products. If I have cooked chips I don’t have salt but I think my wife will put a very small amount in mash potatoes K1

I would stop weighing in daily and limit it to once a week, salt and carbohydrates can make your weight vary from day to day due to making your muscles retain water. Try to keep your macros as close to the same each day and the fluctuations will reduce dramatically.

MSG is an entirely different salt. It got proven to be not bad as the 1970s research was railed against Chinese restaurants.

I know you’re right Sonny Jim but I just do it to see what’s happening from training sessions but the real test is monthly when I measure.
