I am pretty happy. I hit 89 kgs already! Only 1.5 kgs to get to my end of December goal of 87.5! YAY!!! I couldn't believe my eyes this morning lol - Hope everyone else is motivated and has their mojo!!!
89 kg Lost so far: 14.1 kg.    Still to go: 19 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.

Thanks Mamma! I am getting inspired looking at your weight loss! You are doing an amazing job! Glad to hear that my mojo is contagious! I haven't felt this good for ages! It is such a good feeling when your clothes are looser and people are noticing! Woo Hoo for us!

Great work Angelica! Makes it all worth while when you see the numbers drop like that and just the motivation to knock that next 1.5 off. Keep that fire lit.

Thankyou Clinkers! I was a bit naughty today... but I know that I can handle it - its all about balance - I have learned that if you have a naughty day or a naughty meal .. you can balance it out by being extra careful for the next few days. I am pretty motivated, and I think I could see myself living like this long term. Not like in the past where I lost the weight and just went back to my old habits. I have had to really lose those bad bad habits and what I am doing now really suits me. I still have my chocolate (even if it is in small amounts) almost everyday, but things like bread and pasta and rice (and my favourite fast food Maccas) I keep away from, and leave them for those cheat days. I have been having Atkins shakes for breakfast/brunch and then having chicken and veggies or fish and veggies for dinner - with coffee in between, and I am really not that hungry anymore like I used to be! I have gone cold turkey on soft drinks - even the diet ones and now the only drinks I do have is water, and sparkling mineral water and the odd glass of wine. I am pretty happy, and will be happier still when I fit into my "skinny clothes" (read here all the clothes I went out and bought the last time I lost weight - size 12 which have been sitting in my closet for about 3 years) - I had gotten to 73 kgs then, and went on a shopping spree! 25 kgs heavier, - and none of them fit me! They are my inspiration! That fire isn't going anywhere fast!

I agree balance is the key. All of this does seem doable long term for me also. those first few days of no bread or pasta were a challenge but now it doesn't bother me. I have those on my cheat day which are sometimes days. But like you said balance it out with lighter days either side and exercise. I believe being happy is the big key. So together we will can get our motivation, inspiration from each other and just bounce it around. Only a matter of time before you are strutting your stuff in those size 12's. you are doing great ;)

Thankyou Mamma! I hope to maybe be strutting around in a size 10 one day! Lol - although the scales jumped back up a bit this morning... but I didn't have a good sleep and I know that when I don't sleep much, my weight is never great the next day. So hopefully I will have a good sleep tonight and the scales will be better tomorrow. Hope you are doing well!
