Blueberry Dessert

A great combination of Angel Food cake and cold and hot sauces.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. To make sour cream sauce; mix sour cream, vanilla, and brown sugar with a fork until well blended.
  2. To make blueberry sauce; heat blueberries, sugar, lemon juice and 1/2 cup water in a saucepan.
  3. Bring to a boil and cook 2 minutes or longer.
  4. Dissolve cornstarch in water and add to blueberries. Cook until sauce thickens.
  5. Serve over Angel Food cake.
  6. Note: Based on recipe from the Blueberry Hill Cook Book.

I don't understand this recipe. Are the sauces for separate use or to be used together? The recipe says an anglefood cake...did you mean a slice? How much water is the cornstarch to be dissolved in? This needs to be much more clear before I try it.
