Three reasons why You give up on your goals.

1. Not believing in yourself that you can achieve your goal. However, if you thought you wanted to get something, you are capable of achieving it. It is just that you need to take small steps and gain confidence. You do have all the capability to get there. Have a bit of patience but keep taking action. Discipline, repetition and action will get you there.

2. You don't want it bad enough. You have set the goal due to something that bothered you at the moment and you decided that you wanted to achieve it. But, now that emotion has worn off. It is important that your goal is aligned to your lifestyle or you are looking to make changes in your lifestyle. When you set goals for a higher purpose that would benefit your life and family overall, then you would be inspired and disciplined enough to take continuous action.

3. New goal, same mindset. This plays out a lot in people not committed to their goals. When goals are based on raw emotions, your commitment starts to wear off as soon as that emotion is not there. Any goal worth pursuing will need a very strong will followed up by mindset. It is often said that when going gets tough, tough gets going. So, you need to ask yourself, how strong your mindset is. It is easy to say, I am not strong enough and so I will give up. Therefore, it is important to work on your mental muscle continuously.
