Finally I got my senses together. I am starting this journey again on this Monday. I am doing my beginning weigh in tomorrow and will log my weight every Sunday.
I am going to limit my daily calories to 1500. Macros ratio going to be 30/30/40
3 litres of water every day. Psyllium husk to help with fibre intake.
At least 3 days workouts or 1 hour brisk walk. At least 1500 calorie offset per week.
I understand this journey has more to do with mindset than physicality. Let's do this.

If I say I am struggling to start the journey again, it's an understatement. There is zero motivation and over 100% self-sabotage behaviour that too in full fledge. I am doing complete opposite of what I was doing when my healthy journey was in place. It has been exactly a month since I have checked my weight.
This is much more to do with my mental attitude, mindset rather than diet itself. It feels like I am at war with myself. Because I wanted to start something and I have everything planned out but I can't take action. I am struggling to get past my limiting beliefs and fears. So, I am angry with myself and self-sabotaging. It feels and sounds so weird but that is the truth.
I hope I can get out of this soon enough and start my healthy journey again.

This week I am not going to weigh in because I have taken a break from the journey.
The stress was real and I wanted to let it flow for a few weeks before I can embark on this journey again.
I am hoping I don't blow out my weight during this time.

There it is, the first ever increase in weight during this weightloss journey. 😓😓
lately it has been a bit tough to bring up the motivation. The issue has been not keeping with a calorie deficit. I am not overeating but just feeling hungry a bit more than before and consuming a little more.
The main issue with this increase is that I have lost the opportunity to lose weight and it will take more time to lose this extra now. 😥
I am really hoping that I won't get stuck here and plateau. It's a danger zone. I have to dig deep and find that same inspiration and mindset I had when I started this journey. I wanted to become fit, energetic and healthy. I am yet to reach that goal so I need to keep both eyes on the goal. Probably need to adjust food a bit to curb the hunger. I know the winter months don't help the cause but still need to find that motivation.

Gaining 0.1 kg a Week
07 June 2023
I am kind of happy I was still able to produce a loss this week. Because I think my calorie deficit and macronutrients composition was not optimal. As I am also going to the gym regularly, I was feeling tired and fatigued. I was focusing on a lot of protein and ignored a bit about carbs. I was having carbs but not the carbs that my body was looking for. So, I was very sure my Cortisol was going to be activated and would stall my weight loss. Somehow I got through this.
Yesterday I was reading some literature about macronutrients and people normally either look at weight loss composition or weight gain composition. So, if you were to lose weight then your protein intake should be around 1.2g per kilo body weight. On the other hand if you were to gain muscle/weight then it should be close to 2.0g per kilo body weight. 20% - 30% fat and remaining carbs should be carbs.
I was feeding more protein than required but not giving enough carbs to support recovery. In the month of May, my loss was only 2.5kgs compared to April where it was close to 5kgs. So, this week I am going to try this new information and see the results.
Again I am so happy and grateful for the weight loss and for it going in the right direction. 🫶🫶🫶🥰🥰🥰🙏
