Be kind to yourself. You've been recovering from surgery, no small thing, and we all have these plateaus. Swimming is a great form of exercise. I'd love to go swimming but I'm too self-conscious... so good on you 💚

Been a challenging couple of weeks Aitch11 with pain - I finished the anti-inflammatories and this has led to havoc and pain in the body, so doc put me back on them yesterday cause two weeks of hell. It’s takes a strong mindset to stay on course when you are feeling sore and sorry for yourself, makes you want to eat. I staying within my 800 but 20% of those calories were not the best choices (potato, red wine, toast to go with the boiled egg) so it does show it’s not just the amount of calories, it’s the choices with them.

I can empathize Malgaynor 🤗 I just had a 15 day flatline... I also stayed within my cal deficit but had some extra carbs and alcohol in that time. Actually Jomo1903 posted a link a few days ago to a guy who explains how some people are more sensitive to carbs and the effect that has on weightloss. Sorry to hear you had such a rough time while you were away 😕 I hope the meds smooth things out again quickly and the pool work goes well 👍
