An unexpected drop today (but I'll take it)... it's been a while since I've seen this two days in a row 💪 After loading up on more info about intermittent fasting, a couple of simple things I have changed in my routine for the last few weeks that may have helped kick things along again... 1/ start the day with two glasses of water (at least) and no coffee/ food before an hour after getting going in the morning (waiting an hour before coffee was harder than I thought it would be 😬). 2/ finish eating and drinking calories two - three hours before bed (also a challenge when I work late at least 4 days a week). I hit the mark with both of those things about 90% of the time... I have also begun resistance training but don't think a few 45min sessions would have had an impact yet (tho wouldn't it be nice to get instant results like that 😀) Both Sat and Sun had a 5 hour eating window (due to business), felt good so might try that again next weekend too... will see what the scales do this week and make my decision then...

sounds like you may have found an additional tool to help. 2 days in a row is great.

Sounds like a great plan! I may adopt these things more consciously. I already do the water in the morning thing, at least 800 ml, because I have to take thyroxine 2-3 hours before eating. I boil the water the night before and let it cool overnight - gets rid of the chlorine smell and taste. Our local water supply is Eau de Swimmingpool flavoured. And I have no food for three hours before bed (but that’s because I have a hiatal hernia and get gastric reflux if I eat late)

Thanks guys ... midweek and the weight has stayed off so looks like this may well be another tool for the journey Robpk 👍 And spicehorn, you are clever to have started looking after yourself before 40 - you will reap the rewards now and into the future 😉
