Went to my dietitian to discuss the lack of progress. I certainly don't stick to my 900 calories (1100 if I do an hour of exercise) every single day, but most days I would be sitting between 1000 and 1100 calories.

When do go out, or we have people over, I'm not going crazy either. So I'm still (on those days) probably eating less than I would have in my younger days. So frustrating.

We decided that I would trial eating heaps of vegetables. Yesterday I ate 300g broccolini, asparagus, zucchini, mushroom, fried in a little olive oil and I added 20g bacon to give some flavour and 15g mayo mixed through, sale and cracked black pepper. I could eat this every day and be happy. I'll not always have the bacon or mayo, but even with them added, it is a low calorie meal and quite filling.

I'll also fry up a heap of veg and add two eggs to make an omelette. I'm going to see if a week of this style of eating helps me drop some weight. If so, I'll continue until I'm down a bit and then introduce more variety.
