2017 and this is the lifestyle for me..Plant based, whole foods diet. Eating until I am full, whenever I want and still losing weight. No more constipation, no more starving, less dizzy spells, more energy, clearer skin and whiter eye whites. I record my food daily simply to try and meet the 80/10/10 target. (so far I havent, might have to reign it in more if my weight loss plateaus)
High carb/low fat.. staying clear of animal products and processed foods including bread/flour. Mindful of fat in nuts/avocado, limiting pre-made vegan package products. I get to eat massive bowls of salads and enjoy as many potatoes as I want for dinner, followed by banana ice-cream. yum. I havent gone to bed hungry since this change. (Chef AJ on youtube has some cool recipes and a great personal testament / Spud Fit got me over the fear that potatos put on weight)
