I have been slightly bad lately.
While I've been really good with my softdrink (One a fortnight) i've been bad with my junk food. Packet chips, caplippos, raspberry tartlets.
On the good side i'm about to finish week 6 of going to the gym. I'd never thought I'd get this far. No weight loss that I can see (or Feel) but i'm feeling good about myself.

Hey all!
It's been awhile.
Had the flu for a good month back in July.
But onto the good things:
Been going to the gym now for 4 weeks. 4 days on and 3 days off. And in these 4 weeks ik have only had 2 cans of soft drink. I went cold turkey and now I don't crave it much anynore. I only have it when we have takeaway (which is once a fortnight).
My diet has become a lot better. Lots of veggies and salad. Still eat a fair bit of carbs but I am still slowly working on that.
I did do a huge walk around a Lagoon (The walk around the lagoon is about 1.3km long). Normally that would kill me. And I carried about 200kgs of potting mix down the stairs in the laat two days.
My main goal is just focusing on making me healthy and feeling better about myself.

Still not looking at the scales as I know my weight hasn't moved by the feel of my clothes, but i'm not concerned. Just going with the flow at the moment.
Got to finally go to the gym today after not going for a couple of weeks as my carer duties had to come first the last couple of weeks. My mother in law is disabled and she has an inner ear infection that gave her vertigo and had a few other problems as well.
But I got there today and done about 30 minutes worth of exercise.
I'm starting to feel like myself again.

Slowly feeling like myself again.
I have started to do things that make me happy. I am getting an unhealthy addiction to Gel Pens and colouring. I have also started to draw. Never drew in my life up until a few week ago.Once fiances have settled I'm going to go to an art class. I am also learning how to do fluid painting. Right now I'm just getting the supplies and reading and watching youtube vids.
My matra at the moment is to just do things that make me happy and not to worry about anything else. I still go to the gym (once a week at the moment) and I go for walks every couple of days. Getting back into the habit of brushing my teeth twice a day (I am very lazy when it comes to brushing my teeth).
Yes my weight is still an issue for me but i'm trying to learn to love me as I am.
I will get there, nice and slow but it will happen.
