So the guy im seeing mentioned i should go to the gym more often... i have been slack recently and he's very into fitness so im trying to decide if im deeply offended or if hes trying to push me to get in shape because that is when i feel best. He also mentioned something about being a size 8 but we wont get into that .... x

I think don't be offended - he's a guy, and the Y chromosome does not have sensitivity built in. I expect he just wants you to get into fitness with him - I know when I am active and my fitness is good I feel much better and I start wanting to encourage all my friends / family etc to get going on it - have to be careful not to get pushy or preachy!

Having said that - only you can make you want to do it. I picked you as a buddy because our start weight and goals are very similar - but I am 47 and had many failed attempts before doing it successfully this time. The difference is I was ready and motivated this time (and realised you can't keep calling it baby weight when the babies are 17, 16 and 15!)

Yeah you're right Kathy, and I'm the same now Im back into it I'm trying to get my family healthy and its tough not to be pushy and actually guy was quiet tactful and no pushy. I have been back at the dieting and gym for 2 weeks and feel a million % better. I really feel motivated and like I've set myself achievable goals this time. Finger crossed my want to healthy and happy stays with me forever now and it has with you. Well done !!
