Had grandsons 2nd b'day today so broke my diet with junkfood (kfc, cake, vanilla slice, coke, some chips and shop bought pasta salad etc)

I'm not overly concerned as while I haven't fully recorded all on my journal ( slice cake and drink coke )I am convinced I am a still under recommended cals for my age gender etal.
I intend to have green salad and a little home cooked pasta sauce for dinner tonight and back on the restraint tomorrow once again.

I wouldn't worry, life is too short :) I wouldn't do it myself as I'd be afraid it would kick start my junk food cravings again, and being a junkfoodholic that's a disaster for me. For those with better self control than me, I envy you!

Believe me I don't have great control. But this is the first time I have started to record what I eat and its working for me. As you said we have to live. There will be times of parties and celebrations and times like Christmas to let go a bit.

Stick with it. You are doing the right thing recording it all as long as you are being truthful with yourself. Congrats
