A story that resembles this journey of a healthy lifestyle.

Once there were 3 workers working in a construction site. A passers by stopped to talk to them and asked one of the workers, what are you working on? the worker said, I am mixing the concrete. Then he asked the second worker what are you working on? To which the second worked replied, I am building a wall. Finally he asked the third worker what are you working on? The worker replied that he is building a church. ☺️☺️

The point of the story is about the perception each of us carry about what we do. If we carry a perception of the end result, then the journey looks straight forward and you are inspired to put on the efforts to make it worthwhile. When our end result is to have a healthy lifestyle, where our bodies are healthy, we are looking and feeling good, paying less or not paying for medications, able to get out and about whenever we want, developing habits that keep us sane, then the work we are doing doesn't bother us too much. If we bother too much about mixing concrete or laying bricks or building walls, then the road looks too hard and may find it difficult to stay motivated.

That's an interesting perspective. Focusing on being healthy vs losing weight or not eating certain foods. Bigger picture thinking, and focusing on what we can gain vs what we will lose. At least this is what i to from this post. Thanks 💚

That's exactly right. Create a big picture perspective and work towards it. 👍💪

Pls don't misunderstand the importance of small steps but these shouldn't be stopping us from progressing. A well constructed big picture vision will pull you towards your goals.
