I bought KFC for dinner last night (I didn't finish the meal though).
The reason for getting kfc is that an old thought pattern re-emerged. I'd had a tough day at work, so thought to myself: "f*** it, I'm going to reward myself, I deserve something greasy and delicious". I have no regrets about eating the meal, but it didn't taste as great as I assumed it would. The next time that "f*** it" thought comes along, I'll remember that this type of reward is overrated, and that I can reward myself in other ways-like a mini facial at home. Even if I've leaned all this before, it's still a valuable lesson to revisit 💚

yes we do the same thing over and over...want a feed of shop bought fish and chips craving for it, buy it, eat it, and wasn't as good as you thought it was going to be..swear not to but it again...6 months time we do it again, only to be disappointed again haha

I recently made the same decision about Pizza Capers! Homemade pizza is so much better, so is airfried, panko-crumbed chicken 😋

You know what I used to crave for KFC a lot because they add so much salt in everything they serve. Then one day it occurred to me that they only care about making money at the cost of our health, why should I fall for their tricks. Although it sounds simple, we need to develop that mental muscle that keeps telling you what is good for you and your wellbeing. You see they all encourage you to read the RDI in fine print.

I know that "f**k it!" feeling all too well - it spelled doom for many of my past diets, as I was never able to get back on track after enjoying a good Zinger Stacker Combo... with a sugar free Pepsi Max of course 😄. I hope sub-par KFC is just a small pot hole on your weight loss journey.

Been there. constantly. but we have more good weeks than bad. it just sucks how easy the weight comes on compared to how slow it comes off. 🤷

I read somewhere that its so easy to put weight back on because adipose fat cells, which your body creates to store fat, live for around 7 years even if they've no fat to store. So as soon as you fall off the wagon...

Thanks so much for all the comments! KFC is now in my past, just like all the other fast food chains. This f*** it thing is pretty common, so it's nice to see others aware and managing it as best as they can 💚

Haha I love KFC though after Friday night I came home and thought the same thing - Lemon Chicken with streamed rice and x 6 prawn dumplings
