You are not alone in your sinning Hammertone. Christmas is almost over then it will be easier for all of us to stay on track. :)

Thanks JustforJules, I find even the supermarket a challenge at this time of year, with the great mounds of things on display that I need to avoid.

I totally agree this time of year is crazy!! Don't be so hard on yourself and keep positive, you could otherwise be a lot more Kg's heavier if you hadn't worked so hard so far. We deserve a few cheats and sometimes its worth going back up a few kg just to keep your head in the right place afterward. I think I would have put on 10kgs already in last few weeks if I wasn't watching things so if I put on 2kg I think of the 8 that I didn't, because 2 is easier to lose than 10!

Thanks E1ain3. Yes, I know that not beating yourself up is important, but I tend to go there anyway. It is certainly better to celebrate our wins than to go into self-flagellation over our lapses.

I feel the same way as you Hammertone. I really hate myself for slipping so much over the past week. Work has had food everyday and its so hard to say no. Especially when people make you feel guilty for saying no. Its way too easy to beat yourself & really easy to cheat its a horrible cycle. My support is with you

Thanks Treadmillfan. Happily, as New Year rolls on, it will be pretty easy for most of us to get back on the horse again. For me, the start of a new year always brings that burst of cheery optimism and a sense of renewed possibility of achieving big things.
