Swiss Steak with Mashed Potatoes
Crockpot Swiss steak with mash.
Ingredients
Directions
- Trim steaks to remove fat and cut into individual portions.
- Tenderize with mallet. Season meat with salt, pepper and garlic powder.
- Add one can of tomatoes to the bottom of the crockpot. Place steaks on top of tomatoes.
- Slice one large onion and place on top of steaks.
- Add 2nd can of tomatoes to top of steaks and cover with 1 cup of water.
- Cook on low for 8 hours.
- Serve with mashed potatoes, using last 3 ingredients.

It tastes ok. Probably won't make again. Skillet version of Swiss steak takes longer, but tastes waaay better
