Oh-oh, I screwed up and ate six 'Damora Crispetts' over the last few days. These are sold by Aldi and contain wheat and flour, my two deadly enemies!
My aim is to never eat sugar, flour or wheat again, because once I start I get food cravings I can't control, and that's a disaster for me. Thanks to the lady who mentioned http://www.foodaddictsanonymous.org/ I totally agree with their philosophy regarding sugar, wheat and flour.

Thanks everyone for their comments. One would think that losing weight is hard, all that dragging tires around and sweating with agonizing faces like they do on tv ;-) In my case, every time I make the commitment to lose weight, mainly by giving up junk food, chocolate etc, losing weight becomes really easy and my meals become much more tasty. I always end up wondering why I strayed from the healthy food path in the first place! For me losing weight is simply eating less calories than I use per day by restricting my food quantities. I lost 22Kg in 2004 (at a steady 1kg per week) doing just this, but I realise now my diet back then still consisted of too much processed food, so this time I'm avoiding them. My main rules are 1) eat less calories than I use per day, 2) eat mainly wholefoods, 3) log *everything* in my calorie counter (fatsecret).
I had fish, egg, peas, baked beans and banana along with a iced coffee using soy milk for breakfast today (as I do everyday), it was yummy, a good mix of fats, carbs, and proteins and somehow I'm losing 3.5kg a week last weigh in.
Chocolate and junk food free for 2 straight weeks! Cheers Terry

losing 3.5kg a week, at today's weigh in, how crazy is that ? Easy when I have 42Kg to go I guess.
