Taco rice made with ground turkey and cheese.
Ingredients
Directions
- Brown and crumble ground turkey in medium to large skillet until no pink is showing.
- Add taco seasoning; blend with meat.
- Continue cooking meat for an additional 3 minutes, stirring regularly.
- Add water and rice; cover and simmer until water has boiled away, approximately 15 minutes.
- Sprinkle shredded cheese evenly over top of rice mixture. Cover and remove from heat. Let stand 5 minutes.
- Cut mixture into 8 servings. Enjoy!

This is quite tasty and easy to prepare. I added salsa to increase the flavor. Next time I might add peppers and onions.

If this isn't spicy enough for you, you can put some chili powder in as well.
